I know, I know, holiday season is already over but I was just looking through the photos on my laptop and realized I haven’t posted any pics from our holiday trip to the Grove.
For those of you who don’t know, the Grove is essentially an outdoor retail and entertainment complex that includes farmers market, bunch of stores and cute restaurants, movie theater, fountains and even a little tram that goes through the area. It is always packed with people and to me going there always feels like a special occasion, it’s just so festive and touristy, every time it feels like I’m on vacation while being only 20 minutes away from home, staycation that is. It gets especially festive during Christmas time as they put a giant Santa House, decorate everything with lights and glitter and even have a fake snow coming out of the pipes every hour or something like that.
We had so much fun walking around and taking in the atmosphere of the upcoming holidays. This was Alaric’s first Christmas which is so sweet and special. He loved looking at the lights and sparkles and he loooved the fountain music show.
That giant Santa house that I mentioned above has the actual Santa Claus *wink* on duty and guess what? We forgot to take a picture of Alaric with Santa!! And after that we never really got to go back to the Grove during this holiday season so we don’t actually have a pic with Santa on Alaric’s first Christmas! Am I the worst mom ever or what? Eh, at least we have these great photos to remember how much fun that little trip was. I am so in love with these photos though, going to print them all thanks to Derek who got me a photo printer for Christmas, best husband evaaaaa!
