The other day I was looking through the photos on my computer and realized that I haven’t posted anything about our recent trip to Getty Center. We didn’t have any plans that weekend and coincidentally Uber was 50% off so we decided to take advantage of that and do something fun. We settled on going to the Getty Center and it was a great choice! The admission is free, we didn’t need parking because we took an Uber so here’s to another virtually free and fun thing to do in LA.
It was a really nice day! Getty Center is really pretty, from the cool little tram up with view of LA to beautiful architecture and gardens, overall it is a very visually pleasing experience. Getty Center is stroller and kid friendly as well. There are ramps and elevators everywhere, big playroom near the galleries and a big green garden outside. On certain days they have live music outside and other fun events, make sure to check out their website for the schedules.
We walked around the exhibitions before settling on the grass in the garden. It was nice to relax and play. You can bring some food and drinks and have a little picnic outside, really nice spot for a casual fun date! Alaric was crawling all over and even crashed someone else’s picnic next to us, it is always so interesting to watch him interact with other people, kids or adults.
If you haven’t used Uber yet, feel free to use my code “odpaf” to get $20.00 off of your first ride.
